Waka Kotahi | Contractor health and safety expectations: guidance for supply chain partners document

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency have made amendments to their document,“Contractor health and safety expectations: guidance for supply chain partners”.
These amendments include:
incorporate the “Minimum requirements – workplace personal protective equipment” table as Appendix A, removing the requirement for a separate document
insertion of a new section “6.1 COVID-19 Management”
insertion of a new section “6.4 Worker health and wellbeing”
update section 7.7 Temporary Traffic Management to manage risk using the risk-based approach in the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. Adoption of the risk-based approach can be made now and wherever possible to lower the risk to road workers and road users so far as reasonably practicable.
update section 6.3 Fatigue Management, removing the requirement for the “Contractor expectations: fatigue management” document
the following sub-sections have been moved from section “6. Waka Kotahi Specific Risk Management Requirements” to Section “5. Waka Kotahi General Health and Safety Expectations of Contractors”
