More than 4.7 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. Of these, over 3 million people have had their first dose and over 1.6 million people have had their second dose and are fully vaccinated. Of Auckland’s Māori population, 55% have received their first dose and 27% have received their second.Of Auckland’s Pacific population, 64% have received their first dose and 41% have received their second dose. Overall, 78% of Auckland’s population have received at least one dose and 41% have received their second.
